Jesus once proclaimed to His disciples: “I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE.” ~John 14:6
So, the only way forward in this life is JESUS, the Way Himself.
DAY 10: You know you are on the way, the SACRED way, when you choose to simply still as an act of defiance against the world’s pace, and deeply rest in a Divine reliance on His safe grace.
Mark 1:35 says, “In the morning, while it was still very dark, Jesus got up and went out to a deserted place, and there He prayed.”
By stillness, the roar of the enemy is stilled. And the soul can listen to the whisper of its Maker, its Waymaker.
“He makes wars cease
to the ends of the earth.
He breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
he burns the shields with fire.
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
The Lord Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.”
