Names of God: ATIQ YOMIN - The Ancient of Days

As the sun rose this morning,
and as the light of the sliver of the moon that I could see cupped in the silhouettes of the still dark trees outside my window slowly dimmed,
I thought of ATIQ YOMIN, the Ancient of Days:
the forever GOD -
the most venerable, reverenced, esteemed God whose light never dims because He Himself is the source of all light -
the One who graciously and generously shines His light down upon me, illuminating my life and my soul day after day after day.
“As I looked, thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat.
His clothing was as white as snow;
the hair of his head was white like wool.
His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze.
A river of fire was flowing, coming out from before him.
Thousands upon thousands attended him; ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him.
The court was seated, and the books were opened.”
~Daniel 7:9-10
