Jesus once proclaimed to His disciples: “I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE.” ~John 14:6
So, the only way forward in this life is JESUS, the Way Himself.
DAY 22: Today you are on the way when you trust the way forward is always toward others.
What does cruciform love look like for you in this season?
What does it look like to live formed and shaped like a cross at this particular moment?
Love that's truly cruciform is truly vulnerable enough that the heart is willing to be hurt. Not abuse, nos toxicity, not masochism, of course. But a vulnerable love, a cruciform love that isn't afraid of anything because it trust there is more to gain. Cruciform love lives given in all things. His way is self-denial for the sake of others, showing others they are valued and chosen.
Jesus lived this cross-shaped love in a thousand ways. He was always surrendered, not to His will, but to His Father's.
